While at University he took a trip to Hawaii with his girlfriend Chrissy (also part of the Jack’s family) and some friends. Wanting to get their friends to try diving they convinced their friends to sign up for an intro dive with Jack’s. This was Matt’s first introduction to Jack’s and was impressed by their staff.
After graduating he and Chrissy decided to move to the big island and get their instructor certifications with Jack’s. Before joining the Jack’s family Matt worked on a coffee farm up in Holualoa. |
