Bio: Endlessly energetic Elaine became addicted to diving in 1993 after only one "Intro" dive in our crystalline Kona waters. Her electrifying experience led her to bid "Aloha" to her Wisconsin home, move to Hawaii and dive, dive, dive - and oh yes, finish her degree in Computer Science at U.H. Hawaii, Hilo. A PADI Master Instructor since February 2003, Elaine's specialty is masterful patience with students and certified divers alike. She revels in showing them the reef's rarest critters, and it's most beautiful - like the irresistible iridescent Oval Butterfly Fish (her favorite). She's very much at home here in Paradise, but her roots and childhood home are in her beloved Chicago, as evidenced by her favorite quote.
