Bio: Eli grew up in Port Jefferson, New York (Longuyland) close to the water. He went to school in Los Angeles before moving to Colorado for graduate school in Astrophysical Planetary and Atmospheric Sciences. (Yup, Really.) He received a Graduate Student Research Scholarship from Goddard Space Flight Center and used it at NASA to study a supernova remnant. After spending too much time in front of a computer, he moved to Arcosanti in Arizona to help fight urban sprawl. Being too far from the water, he decided it was time to move to Kona to enjoy a life where people used words with less than 4 syllables. Eli is also an underwater videographer and you will be seeing his smiling face on the boat and especially underwater.
