PADI Staff Instructor

Bio:
Living and teaching diving here in Kona at Jack’s community is a childhood dream come true. Destined to dive, I began my dive training at 12 in Southern California when the dive industry was just a big idea and got a taste for working on dive boats in my teens diving the Channel Islands.
I went through LA county lifeguards/ YMCA training as well as NAUI, NASDS assistant teaching and PADI. Pursuing marine biology and art…art became my income and expression through book illustration, decorative painting, murals, stage design and costuming. My family has grown into diving in the last decade which has enhanced our wanderlust for world travel and given it a tropical focus while we all pursue continuing education in the dive industry.
I became a PADI IDC Staff Instructor this past year. I have trained, led dive trips and guided in Colorado, Cozumel, Hawaii, Fiji, Vanuatu, Papua New Guinea, Eastern Fields, and Thailand for commercial and private situations while fun diving throughout the Caribbean, India and Indonesia. For those of you new to diving I look forward to ushering you into the awe inspiring underwater world that is still being discovered!
