Bio: Jim's love of the "Islands" began very early in life. Born on Long Island and raised in Southern California, he was never very far from the beach. Jim attended college in San Diego where he earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA. While enjoying a successful career in Purchasing Management, he pursued his love of diving (now a NAUI Rescue Diver) vacationing each year in Hawaii.

Jim and his wife Janice happily made their Hawaii "vacation home" their permanent home in 1994. After working again in purchasing, Jim decided to revive his engineering skills and joined JDL in 2000 as an equipment repair technician. Now he indulges in his lifelong passion for figuring out how things work and fixing them!

Officially trained to repair Scubapro, Aqua-Lung, Oceanic, Sea Quest, and more, Jim can keep your scuba gear in great diving order! Why not send your dive gear ahead of your arrival for it's annual service, inspection or tune up - it'll be ready to dive when you are!
