Bio: Kirk grew up in South Belmar on the beautiful New Jersey shore. He enjoyed summers on the sandy Jersey shore beaches but decided to move to sunny San Jose California in 1979 to find fame and fortune. Kirk worked for several of Silicon Valley's biggest computer and technology companies in various Senior Marketing, Product Marketing, Business Development and Market Development positions until 2004.

He first visited a friend on the Big Island in 1989. He later spent a few weeks in Kona in 2002 and 2003 writing the tournament newsletter for the HIBT fishing tournament and vacationing but in early 2004 he made the decision to move to Kona full time.

Since joining Jack's Diving Locker Kirk has completed Open Water, Advanced Open Water, Nitrox and CPR/EFR and Rescue Diver certifications. In his spare time Kirk enjoys photography and after an extended bout of tennis elbow is excited to be getting back out on the tennis courts.
