Jul. 31- Aug. 13, 2006
Escorted by Doug Farr
June to December, the garua season (garua is the Spanish word
for mist) is cooler and drier above water; air temps average between
65 and 75 degrees. During this time there is an abundance of plankton, which means more big animals, including whale sharks and hammerhead sharks.
Naturalist excursions are available during the day. See land and marine iguanas, giant land tortoises, mating birds and sea lion pups.
