Diving Milestones-Trent McNelly

Trent McNelly and his family have been diving with Jack’s since 1984 and he just completed his 400th Kona dive on April 4, 2017. Trent remembers, “90% of all those dives in Kona are dives with Jack’s Diving Locker. My wife Leslie and I started diving with Jacks in 1984, I remember Teri was pregnant with Miles.  We visited Kona as much as we could while living our lives in Alaska. We had to take a break from Kona trips for almost 10 years while Leslie went back to school, I started a business and we brought our daughter, Samantha, into the world.  We returned to Kona in the late 90’s making a couple trips a year and in 2002 at the age of 10, Samantha was certified as a PADI Open Water Diver! She is now a PADI Rescue Diver

and was certified through Jack’s. I continued my diver training and in 2006 became certified as a PADI Divemaster. We now have some land just south of town and hope to build our Kona home soon. We hope to start spending several months a year in Kona in the not too distant future!”

Congratulations Trent on your diving milestone! We look forward to diving with you and your family soon!
