Join us for a day of excitement and adventure exploring the Kona coast of Hawaii. Advanced boat trips are for scuba divers with advanced experience and may include deep dives on steep drop-offs, drift dives over unspoiled terrain, exploring lava tubes and caverns, or descending upon a small wreck. You may even see some unique and rare creatures such as a Longnose Hawkfish, Tinker’s Butterflyfish or even a Commerson’s Frogfish. With our friendly, professional crew, your day on the boat is fun-filled and enjoyable.
COST: $175 plus tax.
PREREQUISITES: Divers should know how to properly weight themselves, be comfortable with diving to 120′, making free descents, ascents, and safety stops without a line, drift diving, cavern diving, AND meet one of the following three criteria:
- Advanced certification and been diving in the last 6 months, OR
- 50 dives and have been diving in the last 12 months, OR
- 20 dives and have dived with us recently.
TIME: Please meet at our town location at 8 a.m. Return time is approximately 2:30 p.m.
INCLUDES: A boat trip along the Kona coast and 2 advanced scuba dives with a professional guide. Air tanks and weights. Pastries, fruit, sandwich, snacks, and drinks.
DIVERS PROVIDE: BCD, regulator, mask/snorkel/fins. Underwater light and dive computer highly recommended. Rental gear available. Nitrox tanks recommended. Jack’s Diving Locker offers the Enriched Air (Nitrox) certification course. Swimsuit, towel, dry clothes, and light jacket or hoodie

CANCELLATIONS: If you need to change or cancel your reservation, please do so 24 hours or more in advance with no penalty. If you change or cancel your reservation within 24 hours, you will be charged in full for the trip. Holiday (Christmas) Cancellation Policy: 48 hour cancellation policy. Changes or cancellations made with less than 48 hours will result in a full charge cancellation fee – no exceptions.
RECOMMENDED TRAINING: Advanced diving is adventurous and fun. To get the most out of your experience, you will want to prepare by doing some of the following training with our friendly professional instructors here at Jack’s Diving Locker: Advanced Open Water, Enriched Air (Nitrox), Deep Diver, Digital Underwater Photographer, or Underwater Videographer.
