- Manta Night Dive -
Sunset / Night Dive

Join us for an evening of entertainment with two dives - one in late afternoon and one at night. First, explore the reef as the sun begins to fade and watch as the colorful reef fish search for a cozy place to sleep, garden eels rhythmically dance in the sand or a green sea turtle swims by to say good night. You may even witness large, graceful Manta Rays coming into the reef to be cleaned by the Hawaiian Cleaner Fish. Come up from your dive to view a beautiful Hawaiian sunset, relax and have a bite to eat.

On the second dive, you descend into darkness and in the beam of your light watch the night life come alive. Observe in awe as Manta Rays glide in from the darkness to feed on the microscopic plankton attracted to your light. You may also follow a hunting moray as it searches for its next meal. Watch as he attacks an unsuspecting tang, twists his body in a knot and swallows the fish. Visit shy shrimp, crabs, delicate nudibranchs and sleeping fish. It’s a wonderful way to spend the evening and enjoy Kona’s night life at its best! Manta Ray Night Dive

Dive Days:

Meeting time:
– 3:45 p.m. at harbor shop
April 1st - August 31
– 3:15 p.m. at harbor shop
September 1st - March 31

Return:
– Between 9:00-10:00 p.m.

– 2 Scuba Dives with a Professional Guide

Divers Provide:
– Certified Divers bring C-Card
– BCD, Regulator, Wetsuit, Mask/Fins/Snorkel gear
