Boat Diver

The Kona Coast is the Perfect Place to Explore Dive Sites by Boat.

With pristine coral reefs, underwater lava rock structures, and steep drop-offs,  Kona dive sites are full of adventure!  The PADI Boat Diver Specialty is offered at Jack’s Diving Locker on one of their custom-built dive boats such as Kea Nui – a 46’ Newton Dive Special.  This course covers boat terminology, types of boats, rules of the road, safety procedures and equipment.  Students will get a chance to practice knot tying, securing the boat to a mooring, and docking procedures.  In addition, students will learn how to prepare their gear for boat diving and how to dive properly from a boat.  This specialty course only takes one day and includes two dives.  The PADI Boat Diver Specialty certification counts toward the PADI Master Scuba Diver rating.
