Come to Jack’s Diving Locker in Kona, Hawaii for a Week Long Day Camp Devoted to Sharks and Rays.

During the week, campers will learn all about sharks and mantas, head to the beach, snorkel over a coral reef, and conduct a shore clean-up. Campers will also participate in the PADI Skin Diving course and try scuba with PADI Bubblemaker and PADI Discover Scuba program. On the last day of camp, campers and parents will go on a Manta Night Snorkel boat trip!  Take all six Sea Camps and receive the Jack’s Diving Locker Hawaiian Marine Life Ambassador Award.

Camp Information

 

Ages: 8 – 12 years old

Prerequisite: Know how to swim well

Cost: $449 plus tax

Dates: See Junior Camp Schedule

Duration: Monday – Friday with an evening boat trip on one of the nights

Times: 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. (except boat trip day)

Boat Trip: A Manta Night Snorkel trip will be conducted one evening.  (Check camp schedule to see which night.)   Parents are welcome to join, but spaces are limited so please reserve in advance.  Special reduced price $129 for parents.

Cancellation Policy: Any cancellations during the final 7 days prior to the camp will result in full charge for the camp.

New Camper Orientation: Parents, please schedule an on-site orientation with Camp Director prior to camp start date and bring completed forms.  For travelers who can’t make these arrangements, a phone appointment will be set up and you can email us the completed forms to dive@jacksdivinglocker.com.

Campers Bring: Lunch, snacks, reusable water bottle, hat, reef-safe sunscreen, rashguard, swimsuit, towel, and change of clothes/jacket.  Bring mask/snorkel/fins if you have your own.

Discount: 10% discount on most regular price retail items

Medical Questionnaire for Diving: Please review the medical questions in the camp specific forms prior to registration.  If your child has a YES to a medical question you must go to the Dr. for an approval.  Please inquire for the form to take to the Dr. to get signed and return to Jack's Diving Locker.
